JONATHAN YUDIS is a filmmaker, actor, multi-media artist, yogi, and 'family man.'

He was born and raised in Philadelphia, the 'City of Brotherly Love,' where he attended William Penn Charter and Germantown Friends, Quaker schools with a rich academic tradition and a devotion to '...reaching that of God in everyone.' After developing his creative interests in acting, writing, and directing, he attended film school at New York University, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude- achieving high honors on the Dean's List and earning his BFA in Film and Television Production.

While in New York City, Jonathan 'cut his teeth' in the film industry interning and working in development with David Brown (A Few Good Men, The Player), and in publicity and distribution at New Line Cinema. His NYU films played in festivals internationally and won various awards including: Perpetual Descent selected for Holocaust Remembrance Day, and Eclipse (Producer) which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and won the Student Academy Award – Gold Prize. His film Union (Director/Writer/Producer) was an official selection at the Krakow International Film Festival and won 'Best Director' at the New York First Run Film Festival.

In 1993, Jonathan experienced a series of spiritual awakenings, initiating an ongoing process which has profoundly inspired and influenced his personal development, artistic vision, and professional life.

He delivered the commencement speech at the American Film Institute's 2000 Graduation where he received his MFA in Directing. His award winning AFI thesis film Spirit Rising received distribution through Hypnotic Films. After his graduation from AFI, Jonathan's screenplays were recognized as he became a semi-finalist in the Chesterfield Writing Competition, and this led to developing and writing scripts for Hollywood producer Robert Townsend. He also directed Hands: The Anti-Documentary, a groundbreaking documentary celebrating the Burning Man Festival.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, Jonathan created Infinite Entertainment Now, a full-scale production company. He has produced and directed various music videos, documentaries, short films, and the live action rotoscoping for Walt Disney's Pocahontas II: Journey To A New World.

His Television credits as a writer, producer, and director include shows for: Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Court TV, and Spike TV.

Jonathan's debut feature film, the outrageous horror/comedy Pervert! (2006) has been named ' ...an instant cult classic' and been successfully distributed in the US, England, Benelux, Finland, France, Germany, South Africa, and Japan. More recently, he developed and Executive Produced the dramatic thriller Columbus Day (2008) starring Val Kilmer for Kevin Spacey's Trigger Street Productions.

In 2009, Jonathan directed the two time Telly Award winning PSA for P:5Y, a global organization and collective dedicated to creating world peace in five years.

Presently, he's developing the feature film THE LOST YEARS (The Unknown Life of Jesus Christ), an unprecedented spiritual biography on the life of Jesus Christ (slated for production in 2010.)

Along with film making, Jonathan reveres spending time immersed in nature and has traveled and backpacked extensively throughout the United States, India, Nepal, Tibet, and Peru. He has practiced Yoga since 1993 and is a certified Yogi Siromani that teaches Yoga and the workshop The Yoga of Film Making at seminars and festivals throughout the United States.

He currently resides in South Pasadena, California with ' ...an attitude of gratitude' with his wife and two children.
